(Spirit of the Lenape) Lenapehoking is the name of the new Order of the Arrow lodge which serves the Northern New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America. The lodge was formed from the merger of Mantowagan Lodge # 14, Meechgalanne Lodge # 178, Oratam Lodge # 286, and Aquaninoncke Lodge # 359. A complete listing of all of the lodges which have been merged or absorbed over the years and have become part of Lenapehoking can be found on the Lodge Genealogy page. To satisfy the curiosity of the patch trading community, I have scanned the pocket flap set, and present it here for your use. I have placed it in two formats, gif and jpeg, so that you may select the format that meets your needs. GIF Format (click for larger image) JPEG Format (click for larger image)
On March 19, 2000, at the annual trade-o-ree, the Lodge introduced the NOAC 2000 Fundraiser Flap. The cost of the flap is $10.00 with proceeds being used to assist the Lodge's NOAC contingent. Details regarding out-of-council sales are not yet available but I will post them here and on Patch-L as soon as I know them. GIF Format (click for larger image) JPEG Format (click for larger image)
Regular (for now) Lodge Flap This flap - commonly called the "Elvis Indian" - is currently available in unrestricted quantities to Lodge Brothers only. It is considered to be the "Regular" lodge flap. When this stock runs out, it will be redone in a slightly different design. GIF Format (click for larger image) JPEG Format (click for larger image)
Trader Flap This is the official lodge "trader" flap available in unrestricted quantities. GIF Format (click for larger image) JPEG Format (click for larger image)
NOAC 2000 Delegate Flap The lodge has produced a special "delegate" flap for those who will be attending NOAC 2000. It is the same flap as the "fundraiser"/trader listed above, but with a GMY border. There were 60 of these produced - 2 for each member of the contingent, and 2 for each of the NOAC 2000 staff members from the lodge. At the present time, I do not have any of these available for trade or sale. GIF Format (click for larger image) JPEG Format (click for larger image)
NOAC 2002 Flaps The top image is the "Contingent" flap, and the bottom image is the "trader." The "IX" in both flaps is "glow-in-the-dark" green. The "contingent" flap has the "glowing" border, while the "trader" has a SMY border. NOAC 2002 Trader flaps may be ordered HERE. All proceeds benefit the 2002 NOAC Contingent. Restricted Flap This flap will be sold only to lodge members at lodge functions. It will not be available through the council to non-lodge members.
