Scouting - one of the things I'm most involved in is  the Boy Scouts of America.   Here's my Scouting Resume if you're interested.  If you'd like to find out more, this is what Scouting Is.

In addition to my council level duties as International Representative and a member of the Executive Board of Northern New Jersey Council, I help out in various capacities with three units - Pack 5, Troop 5, and Venture Crew 305. All three are sponsored by Saint Stephen's Parish in Kearny, New Jersey, U.S.A.  These units make up Saint Stephen's Scout Group.

Rotary - I've been a member of Rotary International since 1978.  I became a member through the Rotary Club of Jersey City which is part of Rotary District 7490 which includes Hudson, Bergen, and Passaic Counties of New Jersey, U.S.A.  Geographically, we are one of the smallest Rotary Districts in the world because of the high population density in our area.  I am also a member of the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians (IFSR) thereby tying two of my interests together.   Rotary has also provided me with some interesting opportunities and some very good friends.

I recently assumed the post of Chairman for the Interamerican Region of IFSR.

Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union - In my professional life, I am the President and CEO of a credit union which serves about 14,000 members.  We are located in Jersey City, New Jersey, where I was born, in the heart of the New York megalopolis.

Sailing - When I have the chance, I love to sail.   We have an informal group that every few years charters a boat in the British Virgin Islands and we relax for a week or two.

Scouting Memorabilia - As a result of my involvement in Scouting, I began collecting memorabilia.  It's turned into a fairly serious hobby.  I am a life member (# 3105) of the International Scouting Collectors Association (ISCA) (formerly American Scouting Traders Association).   The main areas I collect are Scouting/World's Fair Memorabilia, National Jamborees, World Jamborees, and Order of the Arrow patches from the Lodges which were predecessors of my current Lodge.

I keep up old friendships with my fellow alumni of the Class of 1964 of Xavier High School in New York City.  My youngest son is now a student there.

I also stay in touch with Saint Peter's College in Jersey City where I did my undergraduate studies.

I did graduate work in the fields of theatre, educational media, and business at Michigan State University, Seton Hall University, and New York University.  This does not mean respectively, but more like at each place.
