Boy Scout Leader Wood Badge is the advanced training course for Scouters. It is training in Scouting leadership skills and operation. The course is intended to develop appropriate Scouting knowledge, skills and attitude in adult leaders involved directly with the operation of Boy Scout units. While Scouters from many positions within the Boy Scout organization are eligible and encouraged to attend Wood Badge, the course is specifically designed to train first-class Scoutmasters who are capable of producing first-class Boy Scouts.
